CAYA Reconciliation Ministries
Based in Dallas (Paulding County), CAYA supports under-resourced and unhoused individuals and families by providing essential services such as a food pantry, holiday meals, summer lunch programs, clothing, emergency financial assistance, counseling, and other critical resources.
United Way of Greater Atlanta's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is provided in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and coalition partners in the community. VITA is available to individuals with incomes up to $67,000 and MyFreeTaxes is available to individuals with incomes up to $84,000. Last year VITA helped taxpayers get $11.2 million in tax refunds and save $3.5 million in tax prep fees. VITA provides free tax preparation services across 13 counties.
