Metro Atlanta Urban Farm
Located in College Park (Fulton County), Metro Atlanta Urban Farm combats food insecurity by growing certified naturally grown fruits and vegetables and educating communities on sustainable agriculture and healthy eating.
United Way of Greater Atlanta's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is provided in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and coalition partners in the community. VITA is available to individuals with incomes up to $67,000 and MyFreeTaxes is available to individuals with incomes up to $84,000. Last year VITA helped taxpayers get $11.2 million in tax refunds and save $3.5 million in tax prep fees. VITA provides free tax preparation services across 13 counties.
