St. Vincent de Paul Georgia
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia provides stabilization services to individuals and families in need throughout the state. They operate 26 food pantries in Metro Atlanta, with their largest pantry located in Chamblee in DeKalb County.
United Way of Greater Atlanta's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is provided in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and coalition partners in the community. VITA is available to individuals with incomes up to $67,000 and MyFreeTaxes is available to individuals with incomes up to $84,000. Last year VITA helped taxpayers get $11.2 million in tax refunds and save $3.5 million in tax prep fees. VITA provides free tax preparation services across 13 counties.
