The Goodr Foundation
The Goodr Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger by connecting community resources to their network of nonprofit partners and those in need. They operate several free grocery stores in schools and other locations throughout Metro Atlanta.
United Way of Greater Atlanta's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is provided in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and coalition partners in the community. VITA is available to individuals with incomes up to $67,000 and MyFreeTaxes is available to individuals with incomes up to $84,000. Last year VITA helped taxpayers get $11.2 million in tax refunds and save $3.5 million in tax prep fees. VITA provides free tax preparation services across 13 counties.
